The film’s director ‘Shane Black’ has confirmed that the film is not a reboot of the franchise, but a sequel that remembers and notes characters from the film during the San Diego Comic-con 2018. The movie’s star cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Kay, Olivia Munn, and Sterling K. Brown.
These three Sept release movies will face a tough competition with another movie release ‘The Nun’ on Sept 7th to 9th, which is likely to debut with a 32 to 42 million dollars range opening. So, the expected openings for ‘A Simple favor’ is around 12-15 million dollars and for ‘White Boy Rick’ is about 5-9 million dollars.
‘The Predator’ movie that has 25-30 million dollar estimated opening is, however less than the opening weekend of 2004’s Alien Vs. Predator. ‘The Predator’ is still envisaged to do well against the soft competition. Moreover, director Shane has a huge fan base with regards to his previous spectacular work such as Ironman 3.
