Bollywood’s mega stars Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are presently shooting for their upcoming blockbuster film that is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Tabbu, Disha Patani, and Nora Fatehi are among the other actors that have been roped into the movie in pivotal roles.
The ‘Bharat’ cast recently flew over to Malta, Europe to wrap up the second schedule in the shooting of their film. According to the director, ‘Bharat’ is loosely based on ‘Ode to My Father’, a South Korean drama. Bharat is Salman and Katrina’s second collaboration with Ali, while it is also their sixth film together.
Quantico star Priyanka Chopra was initially approached to be the lead in the film, but Priyanka walked out of the film citing personal reasons. A few days later, Ali Abbas Zafar announced that Katrina Kaif had been cast as her replacement in the film. She received a warm welcome by Salman Khan who took to his Instagram handle to embrace her into the film.
