There is a good chance that South Carolina's abortion regulations won't tighten up.

Following a special legislative session on Tuesday, the Republicans in the General Assembly were unable to agree on a complete prohibition on the procedure.

For decades, South Carolina led the way in enacting stricter abortion regulations that went against Roe v. Wade.

The state mandates 24-hour waiting periods, ultrasounds, and parental approval before abortions.

All these statements will also be passed into the other jurisdictions as well

All These measure were probably eliminated for this session by a House vote on Tuesday. Republicans in the House pressed on a complete ban on abortion.
